Danielle Norris goes the extra mile for her borrower

Going the Extra Mile for You

Kirsten was trying to buy her first home during the pandemic. She did not make enough money to qualify for a mortgage, so she began working with Habitat for Humanity which helps low-income participants build and finance a safe, affordable place to call home. However, due to the pandemic, Habitat for Humanity was not receiving enough financial donations to help Kirsten fund her new home.

Habitat for Humanity reached out to First Centennial Mortgage to help with this home mortgage because they know our team will do everything we can to help our borrowers reach the goal of homeownership. Danielle Norris, Loan Officer in Austin, Texas, began working with Kirsten and Habitat for Humanity in order to help Kirsten get a mortgage that could fit her tight budget.

Danielle went above and beyond by reaching out to area non-profits for help with additional assistance funds in order to get Kirsten’s mortgage payment in the range she could afford. Danielle was able to find and use special programs to add over $55,000 in assistance money to Kirsten’s loan in order to get her qualified.

Kirsten has moved into her new home and is ecstatic that Danielle was able to find financing to help her become a homeowner. Kirsten is continuing to partner with and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity to build a home for another family in need which will also be financed by Danielle at First Centennial Mortgage.
