Even if you're just beginning the homebuying process, you should still be aware of what's in store down the pipeline, even if it seems like some distant day in the future. One aspect you should keep in mind is your home closing.
The closing is the final step in the legal transfer of the home from the seller to you, the buyer. This means you need to be there to sign the mortgage and title. It's also important that anyone who needs to sign attend the closing, such as your spouse, partner, parent or other co-signer.
Be sure to make the necessary arrangements at a convenient time for everyone involved to help facilitate the home closing process.
